Community ratings, editorial picks and booster recognition.
By DEV/STATION · Published
Community ratings are feedback from members. Editorial picks are staff selections. Portfolio Premium recognizes verified Discord server support. These signals have different purposes: none should be treated as a professional certification, proof of employment or a guaranteed endorsement.
Community feedback describes the experience
Members score portfolios across Design, Interaction, Performance and Creativity. Feedback reflects the member’s experience of the work and can help a creator decide what to improve.
A community score is not an independent performance audit. Read the project and any public comments in context, and inspect the original website before drawing conclusions.
Editorial picks are a separate selection
Staff curate editorial selections through the review tools. The leaderboard separates community rankings and editorial recognition so visitors can understand the source of a selection.
Publication makes a portfolio available for discovery; it does not automatically grant an editorial award. A high community score and an editorial selection can coexist, but one is not a substitute for the other.
Booster recognition identifies support
Portfolio Premium is tied to verified active DEV/STATION Discord server booster eligibility. It is separate from an editorial award and from the portfolio’s community score.
Eligible Universal submissions may receive automatic approval after checks. Assigned-admin submissions still require manual review. Supporting the community does not permit copied work, unsafe content or self-review.
Give feedback another creator can use
Describe what you tried, what happened and what could improve. A specific observation about navigation or readability is more useful than an unsupported claim about the creator’s ability.
Keep feedback about the work. Follow community guidelines, respect ownership and use the report form for a genuine content or copyright concern.
